Floral and peacocks pure silk vintage saree, 3 yards plus
Pure silk saree fabric yardage for a saree wrap or scarf features peacock and partridges. One way / vertical print with a geometric border that runs only on the left selvage side. Measures 3 yards + 25" long x 37 " wide. Birds are large scale peacocks and partridges.
The peacock style bird measures 17" from tip to tail feathers and repeat every 36" -- There are 4 complete rows of the larger peacock with 3 peacocks in each row.
The partridge style bird measures 11.5" long and repeats every 36" -- There are 3 complete rows of it with 3 birds in each row.
Excellent condition silk - dupioni weave with some horizontal slubbing. Definitely hand blocked silk. Please note that the colors are matched as close to the original as possible - Royal blue, fuchsia pink, Kelly green, darker blue and darker purple.
The last photo shows how all fabric orders leave my shop -- neatly folded, tied with ribbon, wrapped in vintage pattern paper and topped with vintage ephemera thank yous.
