Unique breaker or water type fabric that is water repellent (water beads on the surface) with big city names scattered all over a melon orange ground> Measures 3 yards x 56” — This has a left - right repeat of about 30" -- and an up down repeat of about 26" .... City names are are written with large, paint stroke /graffiti style printing. Most of the capital letters are 3" tall. USA Cities named include Miami, Dallas, San Francisco, NY and USA -- the printing is horizontal (railroaded?).
This fabric will make a rustling, swooshy noise with movement. It is not rubberized and is not an oil cloth. The color is best described as an orangey-coral-blood red orange shade -- very difficult to match exactly -- contrasts well with the black -- it is NOT what I would call a pumpkin orange. I have matched this fabric as close to the original as possible --

This is an outer-layer fabric — a synthetic fiber - probably a polyester. It has a tight weave and light drops of water will bead off - it may not resist heavy water / rain but -- when spritzed with a spray bottle - water beads up on the surface and can whisk off - most likely heavy amounts of water would eventually soak through so this is not 100% waterproof - but more water resistant.) This is yardage is perfect for outerwear for humans or animals -- like dog rain coats, or as a backpack or tote. Also great for purse or tote linings.
