A collection of 10 Victorian black glass jewelry, appliques, belt buckle, belts, broken necklace strand from my personal studio. I am destashing items and would love to know these antique, hand sewn and beaded items will be upcycled or repurposed by an amazing artist like you.
All items are As Is / As Found. They will need to be cleaned. Zoom in on the grouped photo to see the 10 pieces. Some beads will be broken and missing due to the age of these beads (late 1800s). Some are cabochons (flat on back) and have tiny shanks. The strand is a broken necklace - it measures 56" long.
Micro tiny black glass beads were sewn on with cotton thread on to cloth or wire to create the belt and the rosettes and appliques. Amazing work went into these pieces. I hope these will inspiredyou to create wonderful things !
