Vintage woven wool fabric with a medium weight making it perfect for pillows, blankets, winter apparel like skirts or vests. There are 5 Autumnal colored twisted spun wool threads - maroon and grey/greige run the weft -- and beige, brown and black run the warp. The pattern is perhaps a "dog tooth check" -- small check of mostly black and the maroon. Nice smooth hand and surface (not fuzzy) -- not scratchy in my opinion -- very nice for a pillow or blanket. FREE SWATCH to check it out at home. You still may want a lining if making apparel. 6 yards available. Bulky due to width so must ship in medium flat rate box. Shipping overages will be reimbursed.
